After a great engagement session a few years ago, we came back to their favorite spot to toast to their anniversary in the early morning.
All the baby planning can be incredibly crazy, so Pete treated his wife to a nice stroll around Hoboken to enjoy the weather and each other. With only about a few weeks left before the original due date of their baby, I ran out with the couple during the summer to bring on the sun and just think good thoughts. We had no idea if they were having a boy or girl at the time, so we planned for either with props, but kept the focus on the 2 of them for the day. What’s a better way to celebrate the maternity stage than a walk through the sands of Hoboken’s small beach, relax and talk on the grass of a nearby park, and gaze on the majestic New York Skyline.
This was also one of those lessons we learned of not putting the due date in the photos since you never know what the baby wants to do! We did know it at the time, but the baby took its time, coming 11 days later. Phew. And… it’s a baby girl!
