After a great engagement session a few years ago, we came back to their favorite spot to toast to their anniversary in the early morning.
I had the great pleasure of working with this couple a few years ago for their engagement photos, and now they came back to me to help toast their marriage a couple of years later back at Nomahegan Park. They have been together for years, showing me photos around their place from when they were kids in high school. It was so awesome to help them before, but now that they are just a couple years into marriage, they wanted to treat themselves to a gift. We decided that we should toast to it all at the same park, I’d bring the picnic basics, they’d bring the food. It sounded crazy to do this at sunrise while the park barely had anyone there, mainly joggers. We did make them jealous though as we got to enjoy the sunny, but maybe a little brisk, fall day.
Samantha told me she and Ryan had a wonderful time again, so I asked if they could share a few words with anyone considering me, but no words put in their mouths. Samantha was kind enough to write me an email with the following note (thanks!):
