Many times I work with families in the middle of a big move, so we try to decide if we want to remember the old place or celebrate the new home. In this case, we decided that the new home and new yard were perfect for family photos. It’s always a challenge to wrangle in more than 1 kid into a family photos, but once mom and dad were playing with them, it was all smiles. My personal favorite was the family in front of the fence. While I try to get everyone for at least 1 posed photo looking, there is nothing like the natural smiles of them all interacting and having fun. It’s one of my favorite photos and couldn’t be forced in any way. Their fence made a perfect backdrop.
They now have a few metal portraits in their home from our session, and it makes me feel so happy that they started their open walls with them. We even put together a whole bunch of custom holiday cards as well to spread the love.
Anthony is a professional photographer specializing in custom family wall portraits, and has helped decorate the homes of dozens of families originally in the northeast, but now in North Carolina. He also creates a luxury boudoir experience for women, and assists companies with their web presence through custom commercial photography. Anthony works out of his studio in Zebulon, NC, but resides in Wake Forest, NC with this wife and 2 children.
