I’ve worked with this great family before and this time, this little handsome boy was ready to look all GQ in their backyard for his yearly update. Since their walls already had some great canvases and a family portrait, we needed some accents. We were also sure to include grandma in the family photos so she could update her own walls. This family has a lovely backyard, a full-out swing/adventure set, and plenty of space to make him shine. What I love is how he can go from a super serious look to cracking up if you get him just right, and I was so happy when I got a great one of him and his mom, but even more so when he and grandma just happened to setup a perfect triptych with their interactions. You plan for those sometimes and you just never get it, but it worked out beautifully.
In the end, it did take a couple of attempts to pull it off, but we did. It’s why I guarantee my work. If we have any meltdowns, issues with weather during it, I will try it again, free of charge even with travel. We need to get family photos to be their best, and I’m so happy we did!
